Steve ... Why not send a message to others/USDA/NOSB that some of their "allowed synthetic pesticides" are not appropriate for organic agriculture? Are you checking out the new rule? Too many synthetics in processed and produced organic food.. many of them questionable "composts", factory farm inputs and synthetic, petroleum based pesticides. Can't believe USDA and NOSB and others who seem to want this stuff figure they can keep their pesticide use secret from the consumer, or, equally unbelievable, will try to explain away these synthetic uses by claiming they are "safe", of no ecological/environmental concern, needed to produce a crop, etc.. ... you, know, the usual conventional AG approach!!
