Lyndon, Did you know that Dow AgroSciences reported in
the March, 2000 issue of the SERVICE TECHNICIAN/PCT that the United States
Protection Agency (EPA) is forcing Dow AgroSciences to make a label change on
Dursban50W from a (Category II) Warning to a (Category I) Danger signal word.
According to Dow AgroSciences, the issue with EPA was over
eye irritation or damage. All use
patterns remain the same on the new label.
The only changes are to the warning language regarding eye exposure and
the requirement for shoes plus socks.
This helps explain how a very dear friend lost the sight in
her eye when she was exposed to Dursban.
Respectfully, Stephen L. Tvedten
