Dear Lyndon, I thought you might like to check out the
following e-mail I just received entitled: School-IPM: New Report on How
Children Are Harmed by Pesticide Exposures at Schools - there are some
interesting California incidents posted. The
risk is only unthinkable to those who do not care-----
NCAP is pleased to announce the release of our new report,
"Unthinkable Risk: How Children Are Exposed and Harmed When Pesticides Are
Used at School." You can view
the report, some supporting materials, and several news releases about it, at http://www.pesticide.org/UnthinkableRisk.html.
There will be several news conferences about the report in California at
10:00 am PST tomorrow morning, Tuesday, April 4th. Feel free to pass this
information on to local media, activists, or organizations, starting tomorrow
after that time.
It looks like the report will be getting significant media
coverage nationwide! Help us get it out, and make sure that it is put to good
use in securing strong local, state and federal policies to reduce pesticide use
in schools.
Paper copies are available from NCAP. Order from the
address below.

Well Lyndon, no one actually has any chance of reducing
"registered" pesticide POISON use in any California schools,
if you STILL will not "legally" allow the use of any
unregistered alternatives to actually and safely control pest problems in
California - now do they?
Respectfully, Stephen L. Tvedten
(Editor's Note: Lyndon, you could have prevented this.)
Please!
