Non Toxic Mosquite Control Plan
[ Back to Article ]
I'm shocked that you are recommending Altosid! Retinoids have been shown to cause severe deformities in frogs. Please see www.rachel.org (search for the article about Altosid).
Steve's Response: We were not recommending anything but Kleen Kill enzymes and common sense - I simply described an alternative that is a "registered" pesticide - most governmental agencies will only use a "registered" POISON to "control" pest problems in the USA. It is "safer" than malathion. Steve
Dear Mr. Tvedton,
I have just been fortunate enough to receive your paper on
Mosquito Control and will bring a copy of it to Congressman Ackerman tomorrow (I
testified at his hearing two weeks ago). >
I have one question: As a person with moderate to severe
MCS, which repellent is safe for me to use on skin? I would like to send that information to other MCSer's.
Appreciatively,
Barbara Rubin

Barbara, People with clean, dry (not sweaty) skin, that
have washed in unfragranced soap, and are dressed in light colored clothes are
seldom attacked. If you only go out
during the day, or at night when there is a breeze or sit in the breeze of a fan
- you probably will not get bit by this specie of mosquito.
There are many alternatives including soybean oil -
I like scented geraniums - I pet the plant - then rub the
odor on my exposed skin. I also
have MCS - BUT, WE ALL REACT DIFFERENTLY TO FRAGRANCES! I have asked Linda to send you the url for the latest
"plan" Have a great day!
Steve
I would like to let you know that this is the most beautfull gift you can provided to some one, you are great.
