ANOTHER ESSENTIAL PESTICIDE OFF OF THE MARKET ? I WONDER IF EVERYONE REALIZES THAT BANNING DURSBAN WILL MEAN MAJOR INCREASES IN TERMITE INFESTATION POSSIBLY DESTROYING YOUR HOMES CHLORDANE , BANNED 20 SOME YEARS AGO WAS THE MOST EFFECTIVE TERMITE PESTICIDE KNOWN. IF YOU LIVE IN THE WARMER CLIMATES YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT DURSBAN IS A PRIMARY INGREDIENT IN MANY FIRE ANT KILLERS (DO YOU OR I WANT FIRE ANTS BITING AND HARMING OUR CHILDREN I THINK NOT. FLEAS AND TICKS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR POOR HEALTH AND SICKNESS IN PEOPLE AND ANIMALS. DIAZINON WILL BE ABOUT ALL WE HAVE LEFT NOT NEARLY AS GOOD FOR KILLING ANY OF THESE WORTHLESS LIFEFORMS AS DURSBAN. I STOCKEPILED SOME CHLORDANE YEARS AGO AND USE IT AS DIRECTED NO SUBTERRAINEAN TERMITES. I LIVE IN FLORIDA WE ARE UNDER DROUGHT CONDITIONS WE DONT NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT VERMIN TOO. PESTICIDES ARE NEEDED MORE THAN EVER TO PROTECT OUR EXPENSIVE HOMES, FOOD SUPPLY, LAWNS, PETS AND OUR LIVELYHOOD AND MOSTLY OUR CHILDREN..I HOPE OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT UNDER THIS CURRENT ADMINISTRATION IN THEIR INFINITE WISDOM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED THE CONSEQUENCES OF BANNING A VERY USEFUL PESTICIDE. PEOPLE SHOULD USE THEM PROPERLY NOT  APPLY THREE OR OR FOUR TIMES TOO MUCH AND FOR GODS SAKE DONT LET YOUR CHILDREN EAT THEM. I KNOW THIS EMAIL IS  GOING TO AN ANTI PESTICIDE WEBSITE BUT EVERYONE THAT EATS AND OR DOESNT LIVE IN A CAVE BENEFITS FROM PESTICIDES. (EXCEPT PESTS) FIREANTS, FLEAS, TICKS, MOLE CRICKETS AND CHINCHBUGS ARE NOT BENIFICIAL LIFEFORMS AND ARENT EVEN OF VALUE IN THE FOOD CHAIN, BUT WE ARE! CHALK UP ANOTHER VICTORY FOR THE COMPETITORS OF AMERICAN AGRICULTURE AS  THE REST OF THE WORLD HASNT BANNED THESE CHEMICALS. THINK ABOUT IT! . MORE CONCERNED FOR OUR FUTURE THAN MOST OF YOU REALIZE JERRY

"Dear Jerry, I sincerely hope and pray that "they" catch you "protecting" people/property with BANNED POISONS! I have proven that my safe alternatives are far more effective in controlling pest problems than your "essential POISONS! But, you will never know that until you try. Steve"

(Editor Note:  Heaven protect the citizens of Florida from this mad man. It is completely illegal to do what Jerry is doing.  Since he admits to stockpiling dangerous and banned chemicals... someone needs to find him and stop this.  If he gets tired of the chemicals he will probably dump them somewhere that will injure or kill someone.  Read this if you doubt is is possible:  click here)

This is not one Florida mad-man, but behavior consistant with many in the deep South, as I recall.  People filled their garages with chlordane when the ban was threatened. Nevermind that my neighborhood - like many - was innundated during hurricane season and these people would probably have to swim or wade to escape deadly flood waters that were simultaneously mixing chemicals in their garages!  I couldn't wait to move back to California where I thought people were more evolved. Surprise!  When pesticides are threatened with a ban, California farmers stockpile!!!  It's a tried-and-true strategy for delaying a ban.  California farmers grow food for the world - what's on that food is only as trustworthy as a farmers ethics.

I was duped into using chlordane on fire ants on my lawn in Mississippi in 1978 "to protect my children".  Fire ants came into the US in Harrison County & we were trying to halt their spread.  It was our duty to protect the rest of the country from this scourge by dumping tons of this toxic material on our property. If chlordane is so good for fire ant control, why have the fire ants not only survived in the South but have spread across the US from East Coast to West Coast?  Chlordane is a false promise, the use can only be defended by the evil or the ignorant.

Shame on Jerry!
