RESPECTED STEVE,

MY NAME IS RANDY. I AM 39 WITH A WIFE AND 3 BOYS.

I AM A ROOFING CONTRACTOR IN CALIFORNIA. 34 DAYS AGO I WAS AT THE LOCAL DUMPS UNLOADING ROOFING DEBRIS WHEN A TRACTOR DROVE NEXT TO ME AND RAN OVER A GALLON CAN OF CHLORDANE 45% SOLUTION. IT BURST OPEN AND DRENCHED ME FROM BEHIND. I HAVE BEEN SEEN BY 8 DOCTORS. I AM ON PAIN KILLERS FOR MY HEADACHES.I HAVE PILLS FOR NAUSEA. I USE A PUFFER FOR BREATHING PROB. I HAVE OTHER PROB. LIKE MUSCLE TWITCHING,IRRITABILITY AND INCOORDINATION. THE DOCTORS TOOK BLOOD SAMPLES AND SENT THEM TO PENN.

TO A LAB BUT THE TEST WAS NEGATIVE. IS THERE ANYBODY THAT KNOWS OF SOME KIND OF TREATMENT OR WHAT I SHOULD EXPECT IN THE FUTURE?

THE BACK OF MY HEAD WAS SOAKED AND MY SHIRT ALSO. THEREFORE I WAS EXPOSED THROUGH THE SKIN AND THROUGH THE LUNGS FROM BREATHING. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I WILL KEEP IN CONTACT AS IT MIGHT HELP OTHERS IN NEED.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME RANDY

You were probably exposed to petroleum hydrocarbon solvents and chlordane including heptachlor. There is no treatment or method to remove chlordane from body since it dissolves into the fat.  You should have a full workup by a neurologist (Call Dr. Kaye Kilburn at USC in Los Angeles).  Lab who can do clinical testing is also in LA (Dr. Vorjani/Dr. Heuser).  You need to make sure that blood chlordane metabolites were tested correctly. LA lab who can do this is Pacific Toxicology.  Also, blood should be checked for petroleum hydrocarbon solvents. Robert. K. Simon, PhD.

This is really a tragedy.  I would get samples of his blood and send it AccuChem here in Dallas and Immunosciences Labs in L.A.  I would also recommend the guy get a really good Toxic Tort Lawyer and begin with suing everybody.  This is to include the person or company that put Chlordane there and of course the Truck driver and the company he worked for, as well as the land fill.  Perhaps the guy will luck out and the land fill will be privately owned.  Being a roofer and breather all the gases he breathes each day,  I would assume his liver does not work well.  He needs liver support as well as detox.  He also needs heat and the Sun.
