Dear Mr. Helliker,  When Rachel Carson wrote "Silent Spring" she was concerned why the scientific community and you "regulators" kept silent when you saw the contamination of the earth begin right after World War II, with the advent of synthetic pesticides and the resulting harm/suffering these synthetic toxins caused the creatures of the earth. Within months after publishing her book, Rachel died of cancer!  Yet there was SILENCE!

The I.G. Farben company originally designed and produced the organophosphates or nerve gases that the Third Reich used to kill the Jews and other innocents during the Holocaust.  After the Nuremburg trials we began to produce and to use basically the same nuero-toxins or organophosphates that had been used as nerve gases to kill innocent people to "control" insect pests.  Thus began the reign of what I like to call the "Fourth Reich" and has resulted in the poisoning and/or death of more innocent people from the hands and minds of the Devil's Chemist's.

On Thursday, May 4, 2000, the Holocaust Museum held its annual commemoration of the Days of Remembrance in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington D. C.  With the theme "The Holocaust and the New Century:  The Imperative to Remember," the ceremony brought together survivors, U. S. congressmen, and other distinguished guests from across the country and abroad to light candles in memory of the millions of victims of the Holocaust and to consider how careful reflection upon the past should inform the future.

The (Holocaust) did not happen by chance," said Prime Minister of Sweden Goran Persson, who delivered the keynote address.  "It occurred because people willed it, planned it, and carried it through.  It occurred because people made choices which allowed it to happen.  It occurred, not least, because people remained silent."

The POISONING/CONTAMINATION of America and the entire world using your "registered" POISONS has occurred for the very same reasons.  Millions of innocent victims have developed cancers and numerous other health problems and have DIED because of this continued SILENCE!

Well Mr. Helliker, I stand amazed at your (and Lyndon's) continued SILENCE!  The Nuremburg trials proved that doing one's "duty" was not an excuse for allowing the death of innocent victims - and there is a Higher Court! I do not understand anyone's SILENCE when so many innocent people are at risk!  If your "registered" POISONS actually controlled pest problems there would not be any pest problems - all of your "registered" contamination would have "controlled" them already.  Every single drop of rain, every breath of air, every living organism is already contaminated with your "registered" POISONS - yet the pests thrive and increase.  When will someone in "regulation" say "Enough of this madness!"   But, I guess it is true: "Some minds are like concrete - all mixed up and permanently set (and silent)!"
