Thyroid receptor binding of pyrethroids
Both the thyroid and retinoic acid effects are known to be associated with autoimmune disease. In male children, autism and ADD or ADHD seem to be autoimmune in nature and in adult females the entire range of conditions from rheumatoid arthritis , multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus, and more are autoimmune in nature.

Dear Mr. Helliker,
I thought you should read an e-mail I
received from Joyce Shepard regarding the dangers of chronic POISONING
from your "registered" POISONS.
Hi Joyce Shepherd:
I received a copy of your email concerning the meeting on children's health and the environment. I sure would like to have seen what went on.
I am writing again because I think I have a pretty good idea concerning some of the answers and with that, I am frustrated at trying to get MDs to listen.
I probably told you earlier--most pesticides that are associated with chronic poisoning are chlorinated chemicals that mimic thyroid hormones in shape. It is this poisoning of the thyroid that leads to a vast array of neurological upsets in humans. There is good data on in utero effects of PCBs on children and newer data that is maybe less appreciated on thyroid receptor binding of pyrethroids.
There is a second half to the problem and that concerns levels of PON-1, the esterase whose probable function is to activate retinoic acid from precursors. Two groups of people are at risk here. One is those who have an abnormally low level of the esterase. The second (and I didn't stress this earlier) are those who come into contact with OP or pyrethroid insecticides that can inhibit the esterase and thereby inhibit ability to produce proteins.
One more group of people are at risk. Those are individuals receiving shots of some of the newer vaccines that are super-good at taking over the recipients protein making machinery to make vaccines to antibodies. That, combined with low retinoic acid levels via abnormal PON-1 is enough to explain one hell of a lot of autoimmune disease.
Please respond and let me know what you think of these ideas and how best to get them considered by those who need to. FWPlapp@aol.com

Well Mr. Helliker, Do you care about all those innocent
victims that are continually exposed to your "registered" POISONS and
thereby are harmed? When will it be
"legal" in California for licensed pest control operators to use safe
and far more effective alternatives?
There is a Chinese Proverb that says: "Do not fear going forward
slowly; fear only to stand still." Why
are you STILL standing still and SILENT?
Respectfully, Stephen L. Tvedten
