Japanese breast
milk is now so contaminated some is considered and treated as toxic waste!
and
The amniotic
fluid in which human infants grow (at about 4-5 months of pregnancy)
is now contaminated
with the same (or greater) levels of pesticide poison contamination as
those found adversely effecting the Lake Apopka alligators!
Steve Tvedten of Get Set, Inc.'s email to Lyndon Hawkins of the California Department of Pesticide Regulation .
Questions have been asked of the California Department of Pesticide Control since Fontana Unified School District declined to consider a pesticide free IPM program because of the Department of Agriculture's opinion about only utilizing registered pesticides to eliminate pests. The California Department of Pesticide Regulation has remained silent and not responded to these issues:

Lyndon, As you may know Doris Rapp, M.D. and I are writing a book on the dangers and the alternatives (I have developed) to your dangerous pesticide poisons. Yesterday she sent me several new and frightening facts I thought might be of interest to you and your "IPM" position that Californians may "legally" use only "registered" pesticide poisons to control California pests.

A California study of field mice found that at least a third of the male mice are homosexual and the "regulators and scientists" supposedly have no idea why. We now have many homosexual creatures including sea gulls! In spite of all the increasing problems with sexuality our "regulators and scientists" still openly wonder if the contamination they have caused and are causing could possibly also affect humans in the same way. Dr. Rapp wondered in her e-mail to me, "Where are "their" heads? It not only could happen, it has!!"
The federal pesticide initiative announced in June, 1993, was supposedly a partnership between EPA, FDA and USDA and others to promote environmental stewardship for pesticide poison use in the United States. At least one of the major principles was and is to have the government seek to foster, fund and promote through education, research and other means the adoption of alternative pest management technologies and practices that enhance pest management and reduce pesticide poison use and its accompaning risks. I have developed many alternative pest management technologies and practices that work better, safer and more effectively than all of your "registered" posions - yet you not only are not promoting any of them - you are actually discouraging them all and/or are trying to register them as poisons!. Perhaps you might like to read how you should be actively promoting these ideals, e.g., the PEST SMART UPDATE and IPM and PMAP Programs as discussed by the federal government at the following sites, if so, click here: http://www.epa.gov/oppbppd1/PESP/pestsmart/pest2.htm and/or here: http://www.epa.gov/oppfead1/trac/ipm.htm
Lyndon, for a person supposedly in charge of "IPM" in California - you are doing a funny "job". IPM does not stand for "Include (or Insert) Pesticides Monthly (or More)" - I would think, at least by EPA's Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program, that it was and it is your job to find safe(r) alternatives to dangerous pesticide poisons. Yet, the only comment you have ever made to me was to give a definition of the word "pesticides". Lyndon, when will you and how will you define and/or describe the word "ALTERNATIVES"?
Lyndon, if you can not or will not even define the word "alternative" as something other than your dangerous pesticide poisons - it is no wonder why there are no "legal" poison alternatives in California!!!!! I know the definition for the word "pesticide" - that is why I can honestly say none of your "inerts" are truly inert, none of your poisons are truly tested, none of your poisons have ever truly had proper risk/benefit analyses, none of your poisons are truly "registered", none of your poisons are truly "safe", none of your poisons are truly "alternatives" and none of your synthetic poisons are or ever can be truly "effective" in controlling pests - because all of the pests quickly develop resistance, especially to your synthetic "registered" poisons!!!! That is why there is a federal initiative and that is why I developed all of my safe and effective alternatives to your dangerous poisons!!! When will you actually seek to foster, fund and promote safe alternatives to your dangerous pesticide poisons??? When will it be "legal" (in your opinion) to wash your can in California and in so doing "legally kill the flies and maggots with the safer alternative soap and water?????
Respectfully, Stehen L. Tvedten
