EPA MIS-informs: children about chemicals/pesticides
[ READ COMMENTS ]
EPA's website (epa.gov/oppt/kids/hometour) provides easy-click misleading product 'safe-use' information to young consumers about pesticides, aerosol oven cleaners, anti-bacterial sprays and soaps, and more. HSN specifically will not endorse or recommend this site. We urge environmentally preferred purchasing/pollution prevention over EPA's advice to follow (inadequate) label directions on poisonous, expensive, unnecessary, over-packaged hazardous/toxic products.
Take the virtual home tour, click on a product icon, then ask EPA/OPPT to
pull the kids/hometour pages.
