Buzz Kill Crop dusters spray pesticides on homes, animals and people while the Arizona Department of Agriculture does little to stop them

I live in the Mississippi River Delta of Arkansas. Cotton is king here. We were bombarded 4 times last years with cotton pesticides and defoliants. We would call the Arkansas State plant Board and they would come out, sometimes a week and a half after the reported drift/spraying. We were uneducated on what they were supposed to do. The State Reps. seemed to rely on our lack of knowledge to do , basicly nothing. Although they were polite, it wasn't until a news report by me and a retaliation strike by a local crop duster and or farmer that the State actually took samples from our property. This occured 2 weeks after the incident was reported and it had rained.

I am a Ag Pilot in California and I would just like to say that people that drift and spray houses, ponds, etc, don't belong in the airplanes to begin with. People like that ruin our image and make it hard for those of us that do it right and try to project a positive image. Crop Dusting is a safe effective way to control pests if done properly. That is all I will say about that. Thank you for the opertunity.
