This is very helpful indeed, and I wondered if the report was published or reported. Am writing a short article on the issue for the Canadian Organic Growers magazine, and quite active locally in Ottawa on objecting to the Pesticide Prescription. Am particularly interested in persuing biological alternatives such as dragonflies. Our local Medical Officers of Health are in the awkward position of having to make the final decision to spray or do nothing if an outbreak is confirmed, being told they must accept all responsibility for any deaths. Such a huge over-reaction this whole issue, makes me think this is just a dress rehearsal for potential outbreaks of Malaria should global warming trends worsen.
