Dear Mr. Helliker, I thought you might like to read the following e-mail I received:
This whiney, kvetching poison applicator got caught failing to notify my family when he sprayed/"applied" poisons next door. We are on the PA state hypersensitivity registry, and he had a legal duty to notify us within 500 feet of the "application." Well, he did not and we made a complaint with the PA Department of Agriculture. The poison applicator responded by having his attorney write to the department of Agriculture to get us booted off the list because he (arrogant attorney) did not think our doctor was a specialist in multiple chemical sensitivity. (NOTE: nowhere on the form is the word specialist mentioned--all that is required is to have a medical doctor certify that one is hypersensitive to pesticides)
So, do the poison applicators control the Department of Agriculture.? Is it up to the poison applicators to decide who they will or will not call or if one's medical doctor is qualified? Will the Department of Agriculture succumb to the intimidation of this poison applicator and his attorney or will the state actually cite and fine this creep for deliberately failing to notify my family?? This impudent attorney has also offered up our confidential medical records to the department of agriculture--records he got during a prior personal injury lawsuit. Privacy anyone?
It is amazing the lenghts to which a poison applicator will go to vindicate himself in front of the department of agriculture. The immense amount of evil associated with the poison industry never ceases to astonish me. So, it will be interesting to see if the state actually cites and fines this man for his violation of the law or if the state will find some convenient excuse.

Well Mr. Helliker, as i traveled California, I was constantly amazed at the lack of enforcement the people complained to me about and the many advertisements and yellow page ads that still imply your poison applicators are only using "safe" controls.
Respectfully, Stephen L. Tvedten
