Steve, Have a question, may I ask you?
Since the
spraying of our property and home, we have had a private lab come out to take
samples of inside of the home....their findings were 2-4-D, and 2-4-5-T....which
is banned for usage in
U.S.
, well, the EPA, made an unusual move, and came out to our home and set up
machines to test our home inside and out...they took soil samples also.
Well, we got the results back, showing, 2-4-D, 2-4-5-T, and Tricylopyr...
they tell us they don't have anyway in telling us the level of exposure....only
in businesses, not homes. We
have been living in the house for 2 plus years with this chemical inside....my
question 2-4-5-T is banned all of it....because it is bad for you...then how can
you tell me alittle won't hurt. That
is like sticking a little gun to my head, and pulling the trigger will a little
bullet, not kill me? As compared to a bug gun-big bullet. They won't let workers
in a business, there for 8 hours aday if a chemical is hazardize.....I am in my
house 24 hours a day....7 days a week....We spend basicly twice as much inside
the home, as we do at work.....I feel a real need to find out what to do....as
child in home has life threatening disease......this can't be good for him let
alone us....but NO ONE....will stand up and help us..... Could you let me know
if there is anyone I can contact about this situation...that deals in the
aspects of chemicals found in the home, that are hazardize.....they tell me low
levels over a long period of time does as much damage to your health as a heavy
dose, for a short period....Thanks ever so much ...Carol Seriously thought EPA
would help....but don't seem to be.....this brings a weariness to my heart, and
soul.
