1)New Telephone Line to be Established for Antimicrobial Pesticides Information

New Telephone Line to be Established for Antimicrobial Pesticides Information On March 1, 2002, the Agency announced that the National Antimicrobial Information Network (NAIN), he companion telephone helpline to the National Pesticide Information Center (NPIC), will terminate its services, effective March 31, 2002. Until that date, NAIN will continue to provide antimicrobial pesticide information to the general public. During the Month of March, NAIN will operate on weekdays, 7:30 a.m .- 4:30 p.m. (Pacific Time), and will be available in the following ways: telephone: 1-800-447-6349; website address: http://nain.orst.edu ; e-mail nain@ace.orst.edu. After March 31, inquiries and/or comments regarding antimicrobial pesticides should be directed to Michael Hardy or David Liem of the US Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Pesticide Programs at (703) 308-0127.
