Purpose: Notice. This notice announces receipt of an application from the United States Department of Agriculture Animal Plant and Health Inspection Service, to register a pesticide product, Acetaminophen for brown tree snake control, containing a new active ingredient, acetaminophen, which is not included in any previously registered products pursuant to the provisions of section 3(c)(4) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).

This notice announces Agency approval of an application on September 30, 2002, to register the pesticide product Bromuconazole Technical containing an active ingredient not included in any previously registered product pursuant to the provisions of section 3(c)(5) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), as amended. (EPA Registration Number 264-547).

Purpose: Notice. EPA has granted or denied emergency exemptions under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) for use of pesticides as listed in this notice. The exemptions or denials were granted during the period July 1, 2002 until September 30, 2002 to control unforseen pest outbreaks.

Comments: N/ATitle: Pesticide Tolerance for Emergency Exemption for Pyriproxyfen

Purpose: Final rule. This regulation establishes a time-limited tolerance for residues of pyriproxyfen in or on strawberry. This action is in response to EPA's granting of an emergency exemption under section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) authorizing use of the pesticide on strawberry. This regulation establishes a maximum permissible level for residues of pyriproxyfen in or on this food commodity. The tolerance will expire and is revoked on December 31, 2004. This regulation is effective November 29, 2002.

Comments: Objections and requests for hearings, identified by docket ID number OPP-2002-0314, must be received on or before January 28, 2003.
