"TORONTO — April 23, 2004 — TODAY, the Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) will release the results of Canada’s most comprehensive review of research on the effects of pesticides on humans, and the implications for family physicians. The results of the systemic review cover studies done since 1992, and describe the findings regarding major adverse pesticide health effects, including: * Solid tumours, including brain cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer and pancreatic cancer, among others * Leukemia * Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma * Genotoxic effects * Skin diseases * Neurological diseases * Reproductive effects * Vulnerable patient groups, including children." This is a quote from their media advisory. The report itself is 179 pages long, and appears to be one of the most complete, up-to-date, and well-documented documents available on the dangers of these devilish chemicals/POISONS.
