Lab Officials Jailed for Falsifying Environmental Data
Of course even if all of the "tests" of the active ingredients were truthful and accurate, we will never know about the real dangers your "registered" POISONS present, because of all the untested/unknown "inerts", contaminants, metabolites, transformation by-products and/or synergistic health effects.

Greenpeace activists today dumped two tons of StarLink-contaminated corn in front of the Environmental Protection Agency's local headquarters. The activists, wearing biohazard suits, demanded that the agency deny approval of the gene-altered corn for human consumption, as requested by the corn's producer, Aventis, due to scientific concerns about potential health risks.

McDonald's asks suppliers to stop using GM feeds
The ubiquitous high-street burger chain said, however, it would be impossible to demand a complete ban on GM feeds since non-GM corn and soya meal was not available in sufficient quantities.

Pope John Paul II "We Must Be Custodians of Nature"
When this principle is forgotten and they become the tyrants rather than the custodians of nature, sooner or later the latter will rebel.  But you understand clearly, dear friends, that this principle of order, which applies to agricultural work as well as to every other area of human activity, is rooted in the human heart.

Citizens on the Move for Land and Food Without Poisons!
The campaign is targeting the unethical practices of many transnational corporations (TNCs) as they move to take control of local and regional food supplies and agricultural production systems. As an alternative, the Caravan advocates genuine agrarian reform to achieve food security, social justice and land and food without poisons. (People are hunting for environmental justice.)

Organophosphate Poisoning - Poison in the Home
Six cases of organophosphate (OP) poisoning have come my way since August. During the very hot spell many people were spraying their pets and furniture against fleas. Most of them used one or other brand of organophosphate spray or powder, usually unlabelled beyond the trade name.

Chromosomal Aberration Frequency High in Workers Exposed to Pesticides
The researchers report that there was a significant increase in the percentage of cells with chromosomal aberrations among exposed individuals (13%) compared with the control group (4%). Further, "individual characteristics such as age, sex, time of exposure to the pesticides, and smoking habits showed no correlation with chromosomal aberrations," they say.

Healthy Children Forum Report - POISONS Have More Rights Than Humans
Risk assessment looks for the lowest safest level rather then no exposure. Risk management is the policy maker and it gets very watered down at this stage. Hazard ID, dose-response assessment, exposure assessment (combination of science, guesswork and questionable ethics) are part of the Risk / Characterization. Chemicals have more rights then humans.

California Remains “Hooked on Poisons”

Each year, more than 200 million pounds of pesticides are used in California.  They are applied in schools, in and around homes, on roadsides, and on farmland.  Picked up by winds and water, these chemicals are distributed to nearly every corner of the state and are commonly found on food, in surface water and ground water and in the air.

Pesticides: The Real Pests?
Joe Crozier and Yvette Maiangowi thought that, like many other Americans, they were simply developing seasonal allergies. Over 785 gallons of pesticides had been sprayed in their home by a previous owner, they later learned, including 370 gallons of Dursban, a compound banned by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) this past June.  (Question: Is it true that in Arizona and other states, homeowners/builders are required by law to soak their homes with pesticides before state inspectors will sign off on the construction?)
