Mutant Lice

Hello,
My name is Rachel, I live in Australia & I'd like to tell you my mothers lice story...
Two years ago my mother contracted lice from a young girl. Since then my mother has tried every conceivable product on the market. I spent hours upon hours combing her hair for over 8 months in a desperate attempt to relieve her of the lice.. still this did not work! I took her to homeopaths and chinese doctors. There was no point going to a regular doctor as they only prescribed what was already on the market.
The lice got worse and they moved into her body, in her ears, up her nose, eyebrows, anus, everywhere! My mother shaved any body hair she had thinking it may be hair the lice where living in. but no, the lice sement themselves into her skin to the point that she would become so irritated that she dug holes into her skin to get the glue out! this has resulted in whelts in her skin.
My mother lives on her own and she feels like a leopar! she cannot touch anyone, she is soooo depressed! She talks of wanting her life to end as she feels there is no light for a cure!
The Chinese herbalist I found, shed some light for us over 6 months ago, as he knew of lice going on to the body which was a relief for my mother, as no-one in Australia believes lice can live on the body. The Chinese doctor prescribed all sorts of herbs for her body and hair and for the past 6 months my mother has been ritually, morning and night dabbing herbs through her hair and body. This takes approx. 3.5 hours a day along with having to wash her hair each day also. Approx. 2 months ago, I started to feel that these extremely expensive herbs are not doing anything! The Chinese doctor says it is a long slow process as the herbs get "stronger" each time. I don't believe this is working. My mother spends over $800 a month on Chinese herbs. because of this, she is living on the bread line and cannot barely afford to live.
I have tried to explain to my mother that there must be another way. She is so desperate and wants to believe the herbs are going to work because she has tried everything else there is on the market.
My mother is so ashamed, she does not speak to anyone about her lice condition, that is why I am the one doing the research.
I am so scared, as I do not know what to do anymore. I have found this email address in a desperate attempt to find a real cure.
Whom ever finds this email please treat it with importance. I am so sad because my mothers whole life is suffering because of lice.
