After two months of battling (I know that is not long compared to you folks who have been at it for years) I have got a program that works.  First, these are not normal scabies. These are resistant bugs that may even be some other type of parasite.  Using poison kills off the weak ones and leaves the strong ones to breed--not a good plan. Besides, the stuff is harmful to our bodies in a big way.

What is working for me:

Wash all your posessions in it including your shoes (I throw my shoes in after my bath). Give the enzymes enough time to eat the scabies, to disolve every last mite.

For laundry, wash first in hot water and borax then wash in half cold and half warm and Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint. Yes two washings for each thing, and also, do not overload the washer--you want the stuff to really get into the fibers of your clothes.

If you have been infested for a while, you should clean certain areas of your house with Safe Solutions, Inc. Enzyme Cleaner with Peppermint thoroughly--like twice, with lots of strong solution. Once you get a clean area, store the clean clothes in it. Go through all your clothes, and all your belongings, wash tables and lamps and everything. Books seem to hold the mites-- don't know what to do about them.

Mop your floors every day and any other things you touch or lean on like walls and the fronts of kitchen cabinets.

Vacuum often, but remember to change the bag every time you do or else you may blow them right out the back end into the air.

You can rent a Rug-Doctor and steam clean your carpets and furniture, first with hot borax solution and second time through with enzymes and tepid water. But carpets should be one of the last things you do since you may keep bringing the things in on your shoes and feet until you have cleaned up all of your areas--car, office, etc.

You can't do all this overnight so keep bathing in the stuff morning and night and keep chipping away at the cleaning, moving things into the safe area once you are sure the item is scabie free (test by getting out of your bath and holding the item if you start to feel bites it is no good and needs to be gone over again).

I have a strong solution spray bottle I take with me to spray my car. I have covered the seats in plastic for now, but plan to steam clean them too. I don't rinse the stuff off of my car and it doesn't seem to matter.

This is the first relief I've found in two months of hell. Keep in mind that these are parasites, so read up on other parasites—the internal kind, and notice that they do not strike strong systems as much as weak ones. So if you have done all this and they are still not gone clean up your body on the inside ..., stop eating sugars and coffee and too many bready carbs, of course no drugs or alcohol, and you too will be free. Thank you all for your excellent help and support. Good luck!!!
