TOPEnzymes saved my sanity! Note: enzymes causes the eggs to hatch prematurely. So if you experience more itching on the second day, you are doing some good. (The shampoo and lotion mix alleviated the itching for me.) And I have found that a combination of cleaning with enzymes and using Grapefruit Seed Extract (15 drops in my bath water) along with taking the Grapefruit Seed Extract pills (100 mg) 3 times per day along with garliic is really helping. I've only been taking the pills for a couple of days. I had a headache the first day, but I understand this is a result of the good work this stuff is doing. VERY IMPORTANT: If you are taking ANY medication, please check with your doctor before taking the pills. GSE enhances the effect of medications. You certainly wouldn't want to use if if you were on any type of anxiety medication or sedative, and I don't know about any heart meds or other meds, so find out from your physician first. Also, since GSE'ems parasites, fungi AND bacteria (even the GOOD bacteria that you need), you would want to investigate and find out what types of foods to eat or dietary supplements to take to replace intestinal flora (I hope I said that right). I intend to look into this tomorrow. the liquid extract and the pills together cost about $20.00 at a health food store, but one doctor's visit costs so much more.
One more thing, I'm not sure this stuff is scabies. I'm afraid it goes internal when you've had it a while. I kept feeling a sort of "lump in my throat". I happened to have left-over apricot brandy from making brandied fruit for Christmas and I just decided one night to have a "slug" (about 1" of a glass) to see if it would help, and guess what, it did!! (and I slept like a baby !) Another thing and I will quit. I mix straight enzyme shampoo with just a cheap aloe vera lotion or a cheap coconut conditioner for hair) and put it all over me after my bath. I have found this helps tre-men-dous-ly ! No itches while I sleep and I also wear it to work. Hope this helps someone.
