Been reading all (well, ok, not all!) your posts, and no one has mentioned the terrific stuff from Safe2use.com. This stuff is amazing - totally non-toxic, so you can use it on your pets, and everything you own - your bed, your laundry, etc. This stuff works! The cat had mites (scabies), sat on my lap, gave it to me, and I gave it them to the dogs. We were all miserable, and I shampooed the animals and myself, and we are all getting much better! After three days, the rash/hives I got from itching is gone. There is some residual itching - probably from killing all the little buggers off - but every time the animals or I start itching again, I just mist with your cleaner. It also stops the crawling feeling you get. Immediately. We have some kind of really virulent form of bugs - my girlfriend got them after sitting on the sofa with the dogs. (Yes, I did all the furniture afterwards, too!) My friend took some cleaner home with her, and is having the same great results. This site and the guy who came up with the formula is amazing - he is very proactive trying to get the government and schools to eliminate using toxic poisons as pesticides. There is also a tremendous amount of info about the side effects of many of the treatments that doctors prescribe and drug stores carry - i.e.: Rid, pyrethrums, lindane, etc. They also have a comparison with all the other natural or holistic stuff out on the market. I don't sell the stuff! Just wondering why none of you mention it because it really works, and isn't a pain in the rear end to use. And has absolutely NO side effects. Doesn't smell bad - kind of like vinegar, and when you use it, everything smells clean. It's not expensive either - especially compared to what some of you have been spending on treatments. I hope all of you check it out! And I wish for all of you an itch-free New Year!Kim (Scabiesboard Posting: 11300)
