I have scabies from Sarcoptic Mange mites. My mites are self limiting, but it is still necessary to kill them in their burrows as they continue to tunnel in and make very ugly burrows which turn into very ugly scars. The sooner I attack the burrow, the sooner the mite activity stops, and the healing process moves along.

I use sulfur on my body and enzyme on my hair and face. I have been using enzyme combed through my wet hair nightly and no longer have the itchy burrows on my scalp, temples, forehead, ears and neck which continued to appear after the two whole body/scalp elemite treatments. This may be working as a repellant as well as a scabicide.

Sulfur and Enzymes used in tandem are working for me. I don't experience side effects like I did with the elemite.

Both products should be spot tested for senisitivity.
