Hi, Linda!

I have finally placed when my bug stuff really began: in 1975 after I began taking Sinemet for Restless Legs Syndrome. Guess what. Sinemet depletes calcium. Calcium and potassium form one of the body's "see-saws": one goes down, the other goes up. Too much potassium, our heart stops. But guess what happens when the imbalance is too small to register on lab tests? microbes detect and respond to it. My ex had returned from Viet Nam with a parasite in his ears. Hmmm. When I developed a higher potassium smell than other humans, including him, they moved to my pastures because, you see, potassium tastes better. It is salty. What, after all, is the ingredient in most salt substitutes? Check it out. So. Mystery solved.

Now I just have to get rid of my little friends and I have to tell you that since I have been taking megadoses of calcium, they have been pouring off my body. Well, the lice have. The scabies seem unaffected by that. In fact, they will still leave my dog and burrow on me. Little blind buggers! Oh well. I will eventually beat them. Meantime, I have come to absolutely LOVE my enzyme baths. I add a little scented bath salts and the scabies are pitching a fit.
