dear lice r gone,

i am on day 2 of using your product. i have had some sort of microscopic biting insect harassing me night and day for the past 2 months. at first i thought bedbugs, then fleas, but no they can not be seen with the naked eye. i have called exterminators and they laid down permethrin several times. about 3 weeks ago i did a thorouh spray, we ripped apart the whole house and sprayed. each time, it was the same thing. they'd go away for 1-3 days then resurface. last week i used boric acid on all the carpets and furniture, thinking it was fleas. they went away for about 5 days but again came back. yesterday i applied more on the high traffic zones, bedding etc. and went to a dermitologist to make an appointment. i have heard of doctors trained to tell patients that its all in their head (Delusory Parasitosis) but these bite marks are real and even friends have asked about it. till i see the dermatologist (who will hopefully figure out what is going on) i still don't know what exactly they are. out of desparation, running out of options, i drove from tampa to sarasota yesterday to purchase 1 8oz. lice r gone shampoo, after doing some research on types of microscopic biting parasites.

they are mostly nocturnal, and prefer scalp, groin, toes, fingers, and armpit regions. there are 3 sensations, the most common being like a small ant moving across your skin. second one is a tingling feeling, like an insect buzzing its wings on your skin. 3rd, which is sometimes followed after no. 2, is the bite, which ranges from mildly itching to a painful, powerful kind of sting.

i had been using mosquito repellant to ward them off previously, which was semi-effective. they seem to be resistant to chemicals and find a spot of skin that has not been treated.

here is what has happened so far after using lice r gone. after taking a hot shower on day #1, i applied the shampoo and lathered over entire body. worked deep into scalp using fine-toothed comb, and similar for groin. sporaddic bites continued even after lather was laid down. patiently i continued massaging the shampoo in for some time, as instructions say. bites decreased. after it was dry, bites increased again. i felt a strange feeling of hundreds of tingling things moving from my scalp to the edge of my air, as if they were trying to "escape" the enzyme. i read instructions carefully, and crafted a spray using an old spritzer, 1/2 cap full of shampoo diluted with water. sprayed over affected areas.

upon spray, bite would stop, but often seem to "move" to area just out of spray, similar to scalp.

3 sprayers full later, the bites continued. i continued spray until bedtime. bites seemed to be generally decreasing, and before i fell asleep, was only feeling it on my feet inside socks.

woke up this morning, feeling bites and activity on feet and 1 on upper arm. i sprayed but it was still same kind of long battle. am still spraying arms, armpits, head, groin right now and they just keep coming.
