I don't know what I have but after reading about scabies it is the closest thing to the symptoms. The only thing is my husband isn't having any of the symptoms?

I get little red blister bumps and once I have scratched it sorta burns. It feels like something is eating me. The sores travel in a line and it is sorta raised up. The top will be tough and crusty when it heals and it leaves bad scars. I can see a tiny hole in all the sores. They are round like a crater and they go like this ......... Pretty soon they are connected so close it opens up like a gash or a cut. It is worse after a hot bath and at night. I have them on top of both arms, only on top, my chest, sometimes on my stomach, my bottom, and legs. I have put the lotion on and it doesn't seem to help? Does it take some people more appications than others? I am on quiet a bit of immune supessants due to liver transplant. I have seen several dermatologists and they all thought it was liver related. To the illness I had before. But I am still getting them after the surgery. I have noticed when I was in the hospital they began to heal but then they came back. Is there another type of mite that has the same reaction but is non contagious? It would seem that my husband would be catching it from me?

RESPONSE:

Yes, we've had people tell me that their families don't seem to have any of the symptoms or that the symptoms are so minor the other family member doesn't believe they have mites. We have talked to several people with compromised immune systems who are having a horrible time with mites and have read that hospitals recognize that the symptoms are always worse on these individuals.

The more I hear from scabies sufferers the weirder this little bug seems to be. Hot/warm baths making it feel worse is a common complaint.

Almost all the people I've talked to stated that their physicians have not diagnosed mites.

You are not alone.
