Hi again Sally,If your sons marks are not itchy then I wouldn't worry to much at this point.I know from experience and from reading many postings on this board that the itch can start even before marks appear.The itch is so intense that it litterally keeps you awake at night!Your best bet would be to take your son to the doctor now,and if it is scabies then you can treat it before it gets really bad,and if it isn't scabies then you can put yout mind at ease.Sometimes it will take a very long exposure to someone who has it to actually catch it.I caught it from my daughter who was misdiagnosed at first,so she had it approximately 4 months before I caught it,and thats "living" in the same house.Good luck Sally
