Hey Brian, what you're saying makes a lot of sense. I saw the chief entomologist at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan earliar today and he went over me with a fine toothed comb but could only come to the conclusion that I DO HAVE a fungus that is growing in patches, patches where I also have lots of black tary guck that is being expelled through my pores. I also have microscopic black "dots" -- small chunks of the same "guck" I just mentioned. I always though it was excrement from microscopic worms of some sort but he tested it for dried blood and it came up notta. So, I was told to get anti-fungal cream (got some from months ago). This still doesn't tell me what the things I am seeing are, and I AM seeing "SOMETHING" and the somethings are breaking my skin and causing lesions. They DO look like the tips (heads-frontal part) of some sort of worm or nematode but this very knowledgable entomologist says there aren't any parasitic types on record and hookworm or other types of worm-like animals would be larger. BUT, as I said, your scenario does make sense and I've always said, check your health before thinking you have this or that, correct? Anyway, you get an "A+" and you may sit in the front of the class now. Hey, I hope you go and get some medicine now and get a full series of tests to rule out diabetes and things like lyme disease and such, OK? As YOU know, during a recent doctor's visit I found out I have diabetes. What a wake up call for eating right and watching my wieght! Maybe it was a blessing in disquise? Gotta go, my ice-cream is melting.....yep, my low sugar ice cream. I hope your post helps others. To many people on this board have tunnel-vision, sorry to say. I was one of them for a while.
